At our Catholic schools, your child's wellbeing is a top priority. By combining the best of contemporary psychology and behavioural science with the timeless wisdom of the Catholic tradition, students of all ages are supported to develop respect for their teachers, their peers, and themselves.

We offer a wide range of support to help your child thrive, from ongoing training for our teachers and staff, to CatholicCare counselling services, and personalised guidance from specialist teachers and experts at the Catholic Education Office. Where it's needed, we work closely with medical and allied health professionals to ensure your child receives the care they need to thrive at school.

A positive approach to behaviour

We believe in fostering a love of learning through positive reinforcement. Our evidence-based Positive Behaviours for Learning (PB4L) framework is at the heart of this approach.

PB4L is a research-based framework used across our Catholic schools to create a vibrant, supportive environment where every student can thrive. It's more than just managing behaviour – it's about building respectful relationships and empowering students to take ownership of their learning journey.

Creating a culture of respectful relationships

It’s critical that students are supported during their formative years, because the values, beliefs, attitudes, and behaviours they develop now will shape their relationships and interactions throughout their lives. In our Life to the Full framework, our Catholic schools have the tools to maintain child-safe and supportive environments, where open, honest, and respectful relationships are promoted. 

Through age-appropriate education on relationships, child safety and growth, and human development and sexuality, students have the opportunity to experience human connection in all its fullness, knowing they are made for relationships that reflect the infinite love of God.

Every day counts

Consistent school attendance is essential to student learning progression and overall wellbeing. When students are at school, they're not just gaining knowledge—they're building friendships, developing social skills, and feeling a sense of connection and belonging in their school community.

We understand that life can be unpredictable, and absences are sometimes unavoidable. In NSW, there's a legal requirement for children to attend school regularly, and we believe in working alongside families to find solutions that maximise your child's attendance and learning.
